AMBALONA PUBLIC PRIMARY SCHOOL - 2009

This project holds a special place in our history as the very first Public Primary School that Hope for Madagascar brought to the country! Located in the small rural village of Ambalona (25 km from the Irondro district in the Vatovavy-Fitovinany region), it represents a true community effort.

While funding was primarily raised by Hope for Madagascar members in the USA and private individual donors, the project's heart came from the local community. Showing incredible commitment, the villagers of Ambalona invested in their children's future by sourcing and providing local construction materials.
