Fanja Sylvie Rakotonirina co-founded Hope For Madagascar with her husband Georges Raelisaona in 2003. A former Montessori teacher, who is now a small business owner, Fanja is motivated by her passion for conserving the rainforest and the welfare of the children of Madagascar where she grew up.

 

Fanja serves as president and oversees all of the organization’s projects.
